We have been awarded funds from the Cory Community Fund to install recycling bins in Gallions Park to promote improved recycling on the go and reduce litter in our parks and green spaces.
WTCA is working with the funder Cory Riverside Energy, Waste Advisors at the Royal Borough of Greenwich & Peabody to make sure we choose the right bins for the job.
Before the bins are installed we want to talk to you! We are preparing a few online chats and videos to share information with the community about where the bins will be placed and top-tips for recycling on the go. Watch this space for more information and links.
We hope to raise awareness in the community about proper recycling on the go and the issue of 'careful littering', as well reduce littering, increase recycling, and improve our environment, for the whole community.
