We would love to establish a new community hub In West Thamesmead, addressing the need for a meeting place for the community.

We have partnered with Peabody to install recycling bins in Gallions Park. This project will launch in Spring Summer 2021.

WTCA is creating Gallions Copse, a community garden for everyone. We are working with Hexagon Housing, Royal Borough of Greenwich, Peabody and the Cory Community Fund to create a community space open to everyone. It is located adjacent to Gallions Park, at the main entrance to West Thamesmead.

West Thamesmead has become it's own ward in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. With the new ward comes our own dedicated local Ward officer Yves Mapli Kpakpoe.

Our ambition is to learn more about the rich history and heritage of the area to commemorate it for posterity. We have already started to tackle the litter and debris washed up in the Gridiron railway remains from Royal Arsenal.

We are working closely with Peabody and other local partners to enhance our green and blue spaces and protect the local wildlife.
