Pupils at Discovery School were invited to design a 'Love where you live' Tidy West Thamesmead poster for creative activities to enjoy during their Friday learning journey.
One of the posters was chosen to be printed and put up around West Thamesmead - reminding everyone to help keep West Thamesmead tidy!
The winning poster of the 'Love where you live' competition is featured above and was created by Amanda, year 6, aged 11 years
The year 6 team at Discovery wrote to tell us "We are extremely proud of our Year 6 competition winner! Thank you to the West Thamesmead Community Association for giving the children this wonderful opportunity to make a positive contribution to the local community."
