WTCA is working with Peabody to trial recycling on the go in Gallions Park. Please use the new green bins to recycle your plastic, glass and canned beverage containers.

WTCA Chair Mark Pickering invited Greenwich Counsellors Avril Lekau and Olu Babatola and Tom Broad Head of Environmental Services at Peabody on a socially distanced walking tour of West Thamesmead on 11 December last year.
We are working with Hexagon Housing, Royal Borough of Greenwich, and Peabody to create a community space open to everyone.
We have been awarded funds from the Cory Community Fund to install recycling bins in Gallions Park to promote improved recycling on the go and reduce litter in our parks and green spaces.
The West Thamesmead Community Association invited the children of Discovery School to design a Tidy West Thamesmead poster.
