The West Thamesmead Community Association invited the children of Discovery School to design a Tidy West Thamesmead poster.
Discovery Parent & WTCA member Kim Vale created a fun-pack to share with students as one of the choices for creative activities to enjoy during their Friday learning journey.
One of the posters will be chosen to be printed by and put up around West Thamesmead - reminding everyone to help keep West Thamesmead tidy!
We will also share participants work here on our website and social media . We can't wait to see the new designs!
Littering and fly-tipping are a big problem in West Thamesmead and we want the children and the whole community to have a lot of pride and love for the area.
We hope this project will help raise awareness of the importance of keeping the community clean, not littering and being an environmental champion - with the children and their parents - in a fun creative way.
